The Fundamentals of Nursing (Theory 2) course aims to provide students with essential
knowledge about advanced nursing skills, including medication preparation, covering
administration methods and accurate dosage calculation, as well as wound care,
focusing on cleaning, dressing, and infection prevention. Additionally, it includes
operating rooms, where students learn about the surgical environment, sterilization, and
patient care before and after surgery. The course also covers personal hygiene for
patients and its role in infection prevention, rest and sleep and their importance in the
healing process, as well as exercise and physical activity to promote patient health and
prevent complications. This course equips students to provide safe healthcare in
accordance with nursing standards
